Choose the package that matches the role

Each package is defined by job level and role complexity, so you assess candidates against the demands of the role they are actually applying for. Select a level below for the full detail.

Package detail by job level

Level 1

Entry Level

High-volume screening for first jobs, casual and frontline positions.

Best suited to

Contact centre agents, retail and hospitality staff, warehouse and operations, administrative assistants and school leavers.

Roles where some prior experience or a qualification is expected.

Best suited to

Customer service specialists, junior technical and trades roles, care and nursing support, and coordinators.

Graduate

Graduate & Early Careers

Graduate programs, internships and campus intakes.

Best suited to

University graduates, interns, cadets and trainees applying to structured early-career programs.

Purpose-built for candidates with limited work history: assesses learning potential and problem solving on a level playing field, alongside cultural fit, adaptability and team fit — so you can compare a cohort fairly and rank for potential rather than experience.

Not limited to standard packages

Build your own package, or run a single test

The standard packages are a starting point, not a limit. You can combine any assessment types into a package built around your own position descriptions and selection criteria, or run a single test on its own when that is all a role requires.

A registered organisational psychologist will help you decide what to include, so you assess what actually matters for the role and nothing you do not need.

Mix and match

Combine cognitive, personality, emotional intelligence, work drivers, situational judgement and skills into one battery.

Single test

Run one assessment on its own — useful for a quick sift or a specific concern.

Role-specific builds

Tailored batteries for sales, safety-critical, contact centre, care and graduate intakes.

Psychologist designed

A registered organisational psychologist maps assessments to your selection criteria.

Add skills testing to any level

Skills testing can be added to any standard package. Verify what a résumé claims — Microsoft Office, typing speed and accuracy, and software knowledge — before you shortlist.

Not sure which level fits a role? A registered organisational psychologist will map your position descriptions to the right package at no charge.

Microsoft Office

Excel, Word and Outlook proficiency at beginner to advanced level.

Typing & data entry

Speed and accuracy measured under timed conditions.

Anytime Interview™

Asynchronous video interviewing — candidates record on their own schedule.

Volume licences

Pay as you go, by project, or take a volume use licence.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about choosing and using RightPeople's standard employment test packages.

How do I know which package level to choose?+

Package level is set by the seniority and responsibility of the role. Level 1 covers entry-level positions, while Level 5 covers senior management and executive appointments. If a role sits near a boundary, or carries direct reports, a registered organisational psychologist at RightPeople will map your position description to the correct level at no charge.

What is the difference between the standard and supervisory variants?+

Both cover technical and supervisory roles at the same seniority. The standard variant is for technical and specialist positions with no direct reports. The supervisory variant adds assessment content for roles that manage people. The same distinction applies at Level 4, where a management variant covers people-leadership responsibilities.

Are there extra fees for different report types?+

No. Every RightPeople assessment generates three report formats at no additional cost: a Hiring Report for selection, a Development Report for onboarding and coaching, and a Candidate Feedback Report for debrief conversations. Many competitors charge separately for each report type.

How quickly do we receive results?+

Reports are returned rapidly once a candidate completes their assessment, and are typically available the same day. Candidates complete assessments online, on any device, so there is no need to schedule a testing session or attend an office.

Are the tests normed on Australian populations?+

Yes. RightPeople is an Australian test publisher based in Sydney, and every instrument is normed on Australian populations rather than dated UK or US norm groups. Senior roles are compared against a senior Australian cohort, which gives hiring panels a far more relevant benchmark.

Do we get psychologist support with our results?+

Yes. Every package includes direct access to a registered organisational psychologist, who writes the plain-language summary in your report and is available to discuss results with your hiring panel. There is no additional fee for this support at any package level.
